  • Description: This print is from an edition of only ten and in a series of ten different prints. This print depicts an artistic rendition of a hagoita or hagaoita - a battledore used at New Year in a kind of paddle game. Unlike badminton, the paddles are hard as is the shuttlecock. Mostly played by young ladies in traditional kimono at that season.

    Eventually, the series will consist of 40 prints in editions of ten each, with each of the four seasons represented. The autumn series is done. This is the only one, so far in the winter series. Watch here for more Kutani inspired prints.

    Printed on sturdy archival paper, size 44cm wide and 49cm high with image centered, 20cm wide and 30cm high.

    Limited Edition of ten, each signed and numbered with signed certificate of authenticity. Giclee printed at professional studio. Only a few remain. Price includes shipping EMS rolled in a tube.
